VEREDA uncovered on PC and iOS devices
No one ever said being a spy was easy – even the virtual kind. And we wouldn't have it any other way, as espionage is so much more fun with plenty of challenges to contend with, as we can discover for ourselves in M9's newly released adventure, VEREDA.
Here you assume the first-person role of a "secret undercover agent ... tasked with your latest mission to infiltrate a town guarding a top secret dossier." What's in the dossier is classified, so your mission is merely to retrieve it and return it safely. No stranger to complex assignments, even you are surprised to discover the great lengths that have been taken to keep the dossier secure in this "unusual" town. It's going to take all of your experience, diligence and ingenuity to "solve the puzzles and contraptions that block your way."
Unlike the prolific solo developer's early games, VEREDA continues M9's recent foray into free-roaming 3D adventures. Players will need to thoroughly explore the bleak and seemingly deserted town, both indoors and out, seeking hidden clues and inventory items needed to overcome the many obstacles in your path. A brief "training exercise" will help prepare you for the mission, but there's no stealth or time limits to be concerned with as the puzzles that follow can be completed at your leisure.
As of now, VEREDA is available for download on Steam for Windows PC and the App Store for iOS devices, though M9's games traditionally follow with itch.io and Android releases soon after, so it's likely the same will hold true for this one in the coming days.
