Escape the psyche of an amnesiac in Incoherence
Glitch Games is at it again with its new mind-bending escape room thriller.
Incoherence is a “fragmented first-person point and click adventure game” that looks to be following in the vein of Glitch Games’ creepy sci-fi pedigree. Players will enter “the mind of Jason Bethlam,” an amnesiac who awakens in a brightly lit room. Players will need to utilize the limited tools at their disposal, including a camera, to escape what looks to be an increasingly peculiar labyrinth of rooms, piecing together the mystery of what happened along the way.
Glitch Games describes Incoherence as a “first-person point and click mystery… chock-full of puzzles, secrets, and questions.” Furthermore, they warn, “There are many paths – only one will set you free.” The game’s reveal trailer (below) tours players through some of the game’s varied environments, teasing the challenges that await.
Incoherence will be the first title in a new Glitch Broken Dreams Collection series. The game is available today for PC (via Itch.io and Steam) and Mac (via Steam and Mac App Store), with mobile versions available on Google Play, The App Store, and the Amazon App. You can follow Glitch Games via Twitter and Facebook.
