Demo now available for Old Skies
Get a first impression of the time travel point-and-click adventure spanning two hundred years being created by renowned studio Wadjet Eye Games, known for Unavowed and the Blackwell series. As of today, you'll be able to play and experience the demo on Steam of the hand-painted 'time travel adventure' Old Skies.
Old Skies was born in a 2019 game jam that Dave Gilbert entered under a pseudonym. He has since expanded the idea into a full-fledged adventure that unfolds across seven time periods in New York City, ranging from the Gilded Age to Prohibition to the eve of September 11. The game is under development for PC, Nintendo Switch, Mac, and Linux.
In Old Skies, you play Fia Quinn, for whom hopping through time is just another day on the job. You'll join this ChronoZen time agent for seven missions with clients who have the desire (and the bank accounts) to sightsee in the past. Some are simply curious. Others have unfinished business. And they've all put down a lot of money for the trip, so keeping them happy is vital to ensure they follow the rules. What could go wrong? It's only time travel, after all.
Some facts about the demo:
- Has ~40-60 minutes of gameplay
- Full voice acting
- Available on PC, Mac, and Linux
- Has commentary and bloopers (yes I went a bit overboard)
- It's about TIME TRAVEL
-- Dave Gilbert
The demo for Old Skies will be available on Steam until Steam Next Fest is over (on the 20th of June). If you're interested in an early look at Old Skies be sure to use this opportunity, as the full game likely won't be released until 2023.
