CLeM: A New Psychotic Adventure Beckons
The indie game scene has never been more exciting, and the latest offering from publisher Iceberg Interactive, known for hits like Strange Horticulture and Doomblade, is set to further elevate this innovative genre. The game in question is CLeM, a creepy mystery adventure that's been intriguingly described as a 'puzzlevania' adventure game.
CLeM is the fourth installment in developer Mango Protocol’s “Psychotic Adventures” series. However, players new to the series need not worry, as CLeM features a standalone story that delves into strong thematic subjects like manipulation, forgiveness, and pride. The game presents a haunting tale and a mansion full of interactive environments to explore. Its hand-drawn aesthetic masterfully merges the cute with the creepy, further enhancing the unsettling narrative that unfolds within an eerily abandoned house.
The core gameplay of CLeM revolves around using magic to fuse objects together and overcome various obstacles. As players uncover secrets hidden in plain sight, reclaim items trapped in the past, and unveil new revelations, they will find themselves drawn deeper into the ever-evolving house. CLeM is set to launch on PC and Nintendo Switch on February 6th, 2024. While waiting for the game's release, players are encouraged to keep a close eye on their in-game notebook—it's bound to be a crucial tool in their journey.
