Definitely a perfect successor to the Myst series
I took my time playing the game and I wanted to finish without consulting a walkthru…..and I really did it!!! To be honest though, after beeing stuck for days(1-2 hours a day), I almost googled ‘Obduction walkthru’ a couple of times. The hardest puzzle for me, was the running around. Navigation is the hardest part of the game. Portals, teleportation, short cuts, different worlds…..I think it took me 2/3 of playing time finding my way. For most of the times, you have no clue or hint to know where you have to go. That part should have been a bit better I think.
Nevertheless…..I really loved it and hope we will see more of this in the future. The worlds looks beautiful and is build very smart together. Visuals, voice-acting, soundtracks are great. Gameplay was very smooth, but you might need a powerfull machine.
One tip…...MAKE MULTIPLE SAVE GAMES!!! The game crashed and wiped my savegame clean.
PS.
The maze only took me 20 minutes…..I guess I was lucky ;P

The maze can be solved in minutes if you understand the reasoning
The game is amazing. The end is difficult, but reasonable. I went back to a walkthrough (a bad walkthrough) for a couple of puzzles but this was because I am not good enough. 5 Star.
